Mountaineering & Photography

Sports Photography

…, especially in the mountains, is not just about the photography itself. Often it involves weighing up whether a foto is safe or worth to take. In extreme conditions it can bring more risks with it or just costs valuable time during a climb. The extra weight of the camera equipment is also a small sacrifice every time.
But extreme places and conditions create stunning moments and scenerys which not a lot of people experience. That’s why I love to capture these special moments with my camera, even if it’s sometimes hard, to show this part of sports to other people.

Landscape Photography

… is not just about pressing the shutter button of the camera. It creates storys about being outside in nature, wandering around for hours in the night, in the golden light of a sunrise, under a sky full of stars or through heavy rain, always leading to new fascinating scenery.

Wildlife Photography

… takes a lot of time, can be frustrating and requires a lot of patience. But the feeling is indrescribable when I can capture the moment of a beautiful encounter with an wild animal with my camera. It ist hard to feel more connected to nature than in these moments interacting with wildlife.
